You will meet with your guide at the Arrival Hall of Yangon International airport. Transfer to your hotel and check in. (Check in at 14;00 noon and early check in depends on room availability).
OPTION: Transfer with ‘Elephant Coach’, old beautiful Chevrolet was once used to transport dignitaries during the war and has since been painstakingly restored into a luxurious coach with elegant wood and hand-woven fabrics decorating the interior.
Take a time at a hidden little gem Café and try tasty local snacks for afternoon chill. Enjoy a short walk on the wooden bridge to line up along the Kandawgyi Lake, giving you a stunning view on the Shwedagon pagoda, but also on the royal barge, standing at the side of the lake, Karaweik. Kyauk Hta Gyi Pagoda is famous for its impressive reclining Buddha, take a short visit to this Pagoda. End the tour at The Shwedagon pagoda for a unique experience to discover the most venerated religious place of Myanmar. In the evening, enjoy your welcome dinner.
In the morning transfer to airport and fly to Kawthaung. Upon your arrival at airport, check in and take a land tour to temples, local wares and the markets. Enjoy dinner and the first night aboard SY Dallinghoo, along the bustling border town of Kawthaung.
Upon daybreak, you will be set sail 40 Nautical Miles to South Bay Zardet Kyee Island via Heart Lagoon (if the tides allow for kayaking into the enclosed Lagoon) and Say Tan Island. This is a day to settle down, visit beaches, kayak and get to know each other. Scuba-diving beings tomorrow.
An early start from the South Bay will take you to the first dive site, Western Rocky – mid-ocean site with rocky outcrops piercing the surface. This is a great site where two dives can be organized. The second exciting dive site is at Fan Forrest Pinnacle, a mid-ocean sea mount which stands 6 meters above the water surface.
Dive on Boulder Island, where there are several diving sites and walking tracks. With an abundant wildlife above and below the water surface, diving, walking, kayaking and snorkeling are the activities of the day on this pristine, well-protected tropical island.
Depart for the first dive at the southern rocks of Bo Wei Island, following a short passage to the Jar Lann Kyun Village and/or Kyun Pila East Bay. Jar Lann Kyun count a small village that houses a big temple, local shipyards and a busy fishing transfer port. This spot offers an opportunity for those wanting to experience the Mergui culture.
A short passage takes you to one of the best dive sites in the Mergui Archipelago, named Three Islets. Following the dive, you will head to Salet Galet, a unique fishing village, to explore a beautiful mangrove river if the tide allows.
Departing early and 40 Nautical Miles southbound, you will be head of Island 115 for lunch, swimming and snorkeling. A further 24 Nautical Miles to Barwell Passage will bring you to your final night anchored in the Mergui.
Setting sail on a 3-hour passage takes you back to Kawthaung. Take a swim and enjoy some beach time before check in your hotel. (Check in at 14;00 noon and early check in depends on room availability).
The rest of the day is free in Kawthaung.
After leisurely breakfast, transfer to Kawthaung airport and fly to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. (Check in at 14;00 noon and early check in depends on room availability). The rest of the day is free in Yangon.
End your day with a farewell dinner.
